The late Sen. Daniel Inouye, D-Hawaii, lays in state in the U.S. Capitol Rotunda on Thursday. The longtime Senate Appropriations Committee chairman, and the chairman of its Defense subcommittee, lost an arm in WWII and earned the Medal of Honor, Bronze Star and Purple Heart. He is only the 31st individual to ever lay in state in the Capitol Rotunda. (JOHN T. BENNETT/Defense News)
Aloha, Sen. Inouye.
