Beigum’s FN Herstal first developed the P90 submachine gun system in the mid-eighties, and it still looks futuristic – much more so than the earlier Steyr AUG from 1978. Bullpup designs are more common now, so it doesn’t look out of place at a military trade show, but think of what this looked like about twenty years ago…
